About the Circle
Q1: What makes this different from therapy or coaching?
The Circle of Return is not therapy (we don’t diagnose or treat), and it’s not coaching (there’s no advice or goal-setting). It’s a facilitated space for honest self-inquiry in community. Think of it as witnessing work—you’re held, not fixed.
Q2: Do I need to have read Returning to Myself first?
No. The book and the Circle are companions, not prerequisites. Many people come to one and then discover the other.
Q3: Is this only for men?
No. The Circle is open to anyone who feels called to this work.
Q4: What if I've never done "inner work" before?
Perfect. This is designed to meet you where you are. No prior experience needed—just willingness.
Q5: What if I miss a session?
Each session builds on the one before, so full attendance is strongly encouraged. If an emergency arises, reach out and we’ll find a way to support your re-entry.
Practical Questions
Q1: How do payments work?
Full payment (₹18,000) is due upon acceptance. Payment plans are available on request.
Q2: What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the first session. After that, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. [Read full policy]
Q3: What platform do you use?
We meet via Zoom. Links are shared one week before the first session.
Q4: What time zone are sessions held in?
Sessions are scheduled based on cohort availability. Current cohorts meet in IST (Indian Standard Time).
Application & Acceptance
Q1: How do you decide who gets in?
There’s no “getting in.” The application helps ensure readiness and fit. If you’re honest in your application, that’s what matters.
Q2: What if I apply and don't get accepted?
If the timing isn’t right or the fit isn’t clear, Gautam will reach out personally. You may be invited to a future cohort or offered a brief call to explore other options.
Q3: Can I join with a friend or partner?
Yes, but you’ll each go through the application process individually. The Circle is about your personal journey, not shared narratives.
